Western Illinois farming operation is seeking an individual to operate a sprayer, help with seed sales, and do general farm work.
This operation is mostly corn and soybeans, a small livestock operation, and large seed sales dealership.
The duties and responsibilities of this role are varied and based upon the talents and interests of the employee. Your focus will be operating a John Deere 4830 with booms at 100 feet though equipment is mostly CaseIH. You will mix your loads in the field, and the operation takes care of all post application on all crops. In the fall, you'll operate a semi taking grain to the bins and operating the grain set up.
There is a possibility for you to sell seed if that is something that interests you.
You will work from a modern shop facility with hours during busy season from 7am to 8pm six days per week. Off season is 40 hours per week with Saturdays off, and Sunday work is rare.
The owners understand the need for flexibility and will work with you for time off and will provide three weeks paid vacation.
You will need a CDL or be able to get one in a timely manner.
