Crop inputs company has an opening for a Sales professional at a growing location in east central Illinois. This excellent career opportunity is open due to an increase in business.
This role gives you an expansive portfolio of chemistry, fertilizer, seed, and proprietary products to sell to your customers. Your customer list is mostly existing business with growth potential. This opportunity is strictly sales; you will not be doing operations.
You will report to the plant, however most of your work will take place in your mobile office. This is a role where you are expected to become a trusted advisor by relaying current product information and services to your customers. You are expected to scout fields and assist your customers with troubleshooting and sound agronomic recommendations.
The company prefers to hire an experienced salesperson who has direct-to-the-farmer sales experience. You must be a self-starter and someone who can get things done with little supervision. You should be able to manage well an extensive customer base. A degree in agriculture is preferred, though not required; a CCA is also desired.
You will be provided a truck and all the needed tools you need to be successful and compensated based upon your experience. Aggressive bonuses and commissions are available, and good benefits are provided.
Compensation will be $50-75,000 based upon experience, plus benefits, bonus, commissions, and vehicle. This is a great opportunity for you to join one of the premier agronomy companies and be a part of a winning team.
