A full line agricultural equipment dealership is looking for a salesperson to sell new and used farm and lawn and garden machinery. This role is open due to an internal promotion.
This is a premier dealership group. The company presents a professional look. They will expect you to communicate professionally both verbally and written. You will be required to dress neat and sharp. You will learn the brand and become an expert with technology. You will also learn your competition. This role is one where you learn the operations of your customers and help them make the best equipment decisions for their operations. You will be their point of contact.
You will start and end your day at the dealership and once per month you may work a half day on Saturday. You will work closely with the parts and service departments and may be asked to help with deliveries. There could be times when you will be in the field helping the customer get acquainted with their new machine.
The preferred candidate will come from central Illinois with at least one year of agricultural sales experience. Educational level is open. A farm background is important. You will need to have a working understanding of Microsoft Office and typical laptop operations. You must have a good driving record.
