Well established and expanding agribusiness is seeking a Business Expansion Manager in eastern Nebraska to be their flagship bearer in selling the company as you work primarily from your home office to oversee existing business and develop new growth.
This position will include having a lot of conversations with farmers and sharing the story of what this industry leader has to offer in a mutually beneficial partnership with farmers.
Approximately 70% of your time will be traveling the territory, meeting people, having conversations, and cultivating relationships into long-term partnerships.
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical in order to manage the freedom you will enjoy in creating your schedule to be productive within your time frame. You must be capable of having quality conversations with the more established generation of farmers as well as the new idea, technology driven farmers and work with all varieties to adapt to each of their situations.
The successful candidate will be independently motivated, approachable and sales driven. A sales background, contract negotiation skills, and conflict mitigation experience are essential. Livestock experience is ideal but not required.
The ideal location to live for this position is within an hour or two of Columbus, Nebraska.
