They are positioned well in the market with several high-speed facilities and excellent people. This is a unique opportunity to take the company's grain business to the next level in an executive role that reports directly to the CEO.
The ideal candidate will have excellent business development skills. You will work closely with existing partnerships and build relationships with new clients. A high-level understanding of rail and truck trading, hedging, spreads, and futures are a must. The role comes with no operations responsibilities and only one direct report. The company is structured for the VP of Grain to focus solely on position management, merchandising, and partner relationships.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of grain merchandising experience and have a passion for business development. This could be an incredible next step in the career of a Senior Merchandiser, Commercial Manager, Business Unit Manager, or GM of a smaller grain company. Situated near a major urban area, the candidate can have their choice of city or rural living.
