A thriving Wisconsin grain company offers a great opportunity for a highly motivated Grain Operations Superintendent with leadership skills and an agricultural background.
The successful candidate will lead a crew of 7 (up to 15 at harvest) outside operations team members and oversee all of the daily operations of an all truck grain facility that receives and ships out multiple grain commodities. This is an excellent and challenging opportunity for someone interested in a long-term career and growth opportunities within the same company, as you will have mentors nearby to assist with challenging situations that arise.
This is a steady paced facility with a constant flow of grain. Quality and good communications are key. Leadership qualities are critical for success as coaching, training and providing direction for employees is a primary responsibility in this position. It is a hands-on role, and responsibilities will include building and maintaining good relationships with co-workers and customers.
The ideal candidate will be very organized, pay close attention to detail, have high quality standards and a desire to learn. Knowledge of safety and compliance, and experience with housekeeping and maintenance of material handling and storage equipment, would be helpful.
A new graduate or experienced Grain Superintendent will both be strongly considered. Good leadership skills or successful leadership experience are required. Some experience in grain handling / working at a grain elevator is preferred, but this company will welcome a good leader with an ag background who can learn and grow on the job.
Salary will be $50-75,000+ based on experience, plus an excellent benefits package and lots of room for growth.
With this opportunity you can locate in a variety of environments including in the country, a rural community, or a larger city nearby. All offer great schools, entertainment, and recreational opportunities.
Available immediately due to internal promotion! Qualified candidates who desire to take their career to the next level please contact Ryan Bowles or Dave Allen.
