Financially strong, well established and highly successful grain and feed company in the southwestern US is seeking a Facility Manager to lead a shuttle unloading facility and feed operation.
Responsibilities at this smooth running location that is steady and even paced include overseeing all grain unloading and transfer operations, feed production and shipment, maintenance, supervision of about a dozen team members, safety, OSHA, FSMA, and any major repairs or construction projects.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, innovative, open to new ideas, a good problem solver, and a clear communicator. The ability to speak or understand Spanish is a big plus but not mandatory.
Successful experience managing both grain and feed facilities is ideal, and excellence in managing people is what will drive success in this position. There is a good crew that shows up and works hard but needs a strong leader who is a good teacher, confident in their ability, and able to provide a steadying hand to keep things on track.
