Agronomy plant in central Illinois has an opening for a Manager.
This facility has a long history of high volumes and profitability.
The role consists of sales, team leadership, and overseeing all day-to-day operations. Gross sales of fertilizer, chemicals, and seed are at $20.0M with 15 full-time employees.
The current manager is leaving on good terms after nearly 20 years of success. He has agreed to help you get started and introduce you to his customers. The role has multiple facets, the most important of which are building and maintaining sales to key customers. Also, you'll be responsible for logistics and dispatch plus budgetary and plant oversight.
The facility is current with the latest technology; the chem shed is being upgraded. Rolling stock is in "tip-top" shape. People resources are very good with an experienced team in place.

Should you be hired, you'll be paid a salary that is bonus and commission driven. Unlimited vehicle use and benefits are provided.
$70-125,000 total comp, plus vehicle and benefits.
