Top of the line agronomy retail facility in Central Illinois has a rare opening for an Operations Manager. This role is coming open due to retirement. This plant has received major capital improvements, making it a premier plant.
Your role is to oversee everything as it relates to the operations of the location. You will be responsible for making sure orders are executed properly and timely and managing all inventories. The plant runs mostly AGCO AGChem equipment and you will oversee and make sure everything is ready to go to the field. During busy time, you will take care of chemical mixing using a Junge automated system.
This job will not have you in the field. This is a fast-paced and intense role in a high tech environment. Should you be hired now, you will have the luxury of being trained and mentored by the current man.
