Manufacturer of sulphur fertilizers and sulphur micronutrients is seeking a Technical Agronomist to fill a new role. This role is open because of company growth and market penetration.
This role has a wide variety of functions. You will develop research protocols and meet with contract researchers to oversee and manage research projects domestic and international. You will then take the data gleaned from the researchers and evaluate it and then present it to marketing, sales, and customer clients in layman's terms.
You will assist in teaching sales and marketing about the products and how to use them to achieve maximum productivity. You may be in the field or working trade shows to meet direct with farmers and retailers.
You must have a very good understanding of regulatory rules and how and when fertility products may be applied and used. This role will REQUIRE you to have an MS degree in Agronomy, CPAg, CCA, a minimum 5 years experience in the field, and a valid passport. The company desires you to have experience in the lab as well as the field and have a good understanding of agronomic and farming technology.
You must be able to communicate effectively and match your communications skills to your target audience. You will be working as part of a small team and be someone of high ethics and integrity. The ideal personality for this role will be someone who is amiable and analytical. If your style is more driven and forceful, then this may not be the role for you.

This is a role with about 40% travel and may require you to be outside of the country. You can live anywhere in the US, as long as you are near a major airport.
