Seed genetics provider is seeking an individual to fill the role of Sales Manager.
This role is ideal for someone who has been a seed DSM or RSM or a Sales Agronomist and ready to experience the seed industry in a new light providing genetic seed material to regional seed companies.
You will develop key relationships with company owners, managers, product managers, and plant breeders to learn their needs and provide them the latest technology that will be used to create new corn hybrids.
You will be responsible for sales, coordinating deliveries, trade shows and industry events, field days, fee collections, and policing for violations of intellectual property rights.
This job provides flexibility for you to work from your home office. Travel is required, and depending upon the season, it may be extensive. The busiest months will be August, September, and October.
You will need to have a minimum of 5 years seed sales or related experience, plus a BS degree in genetics or agronomics.
This is a role that will, in most situations, take you a couple of years of commitment to learn.

Compensation on this job will be based upon your experiences and value you bring to the role.
You will have options for bonuses. Benefits are provided, and the company will reimburse you for mileage and all related expenses.
$60-100,000 base salary plus benefits and bonus opportunities.
