This is a position for someone passionate about crop production and helping grain producers maximize profits.
The role will involve becoming an expert in products, services and pricing to assist the company in developing competitive marketing strategies. This person will provide recommendations on crop nutrient, chemistry, and seed for the various soil types in the area. Success will be measured on this person's ability to maintain customer relationships and grow the sales of products and services while providing professional customer service.
Additional responsibilities will be to oversee the fertilizer and chemical inventories at nearby plant to assure adequate supplies when needed as well as some physical plant housekeeping and maintenance.
Candidates must have a positive attitude and be a team player. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Candidates must have a BS Degree in Agriculture with a major or minor in Agronomy and 1-3 years of experience; however, new college graduates with some agronomy internship experience will be considered.
