A Seed Production Associate is needed at a seed production plant in northeast Indiana.
This company is known for being forward-thinking and consistently growing by listening to their employees and adding new products to generate work and revenues. This plant processes and packages popcorn and dent corn that is GMO and organic.
This role will report to the Site Manager.
Reporting to the Site Manager, your responsibilities will focus on all tasks related to growing a quality product. You will oversee personnel in the field and at the plant and interact with contract detasseling crews and harvest crews. This job may require you to work in the processing tower and operate seed cleaning equipment, gravity, bagger, fork truck, and other types of seed conveying equipment.
This role requires a person who can handle and manage multiple tasks concurrently. You must have a minimum of five years of seed production experience and have a very good understanding of agronomics and overall crop production. The company will compensate you based on your experiences.
$48-70,000 BOE plus benefits and vehicle. This role has options for career and financial advancement.
