Mid-west based risk management company is seeking a Business Development Manager to assist their team in expanding their market footprint.
You will be working with dairy producers as potential clients to show them how the company's unique approach can add value to their producers by providing a white label risk management platform, communication and relationship management tools, and objective grower friendly strategy recommendations to encourage proactive risk management.
The successful candidate will have dairy industry sales and marketing experience and understand, generally, the interaction between dairy producers and the US Dairy Product marketing stream. Since technology is a key part of the service, a familiarity and comfort with software applications and uses will be a valuable asset.
You will have the opportunity to office from your home but will need to be in close proximity to a major airport. You will be expected to travel 25-35% of the time. This is a face-to-face sales role with dairy farmers and the key decision makers so you must have experience and be comfortable with this audience.
