Full-service agronomy company is seeking a Lead Agronomy Precision Manager.
This is a key multi-faceted role. You will be working directly with farmers and salespeople selling additional precision services. This role is the lead resource for technology in the business, and your goal is to build a profitable precision sector.
Key responsibilities will be leading training sessions; assisting sales agronomists selling to farmers; providing support to new accounts, VR maps, sensors, and soil sampling; and leading and mentoring interns. Improve efficiencies and challenge the company to grow by offering new products and services.
The company seeks someone with a fresh perspective who has experienced the successes of precision agriculture and who can communicate effectively with personnel and growers. You'll need experience with Field Analytics, Farmmobile, and others to create customized product offerings for customers.
You must have a minimum of a BS in agronomy or agribusiness and have a successful record in developing or implementing agronomy technology. Candidates with an MS, PhD, CCA, or a CPAg are highly desired.
You must communicate professionally and be able to speak in front of larger groups. Agronomy retail experience coupled with an understanding of agronomy plant operations will be required.
