    Central Illinois Midwest, United States

Successful and expanding grain company in central Illinois needs a skilled Grain Operations Superintendent to take on a newly created role at a key rail location.

Responsibilities will include overseeing all activity at the facility, including unloading trucks, loading trains, drying, blending, grain quality, maintenance and repairs. Along with the Assistant Superintendent, you will oversee an additional four team members as well as staff from other facilities who periodically assist in train loading or other activities.

With the current team, there is adequate staff to rotate on train loading so you DO NOT have to be there for every train.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of grain operations experience. You must understand and desire to be a part of a strong safety culture and have a mentality of wanting to make the facility better, safer, and cleaner, a place of pride where people want to work and do business.

This is a perfect opportunity for an Assistant Operations Superintendent whose career path is blocked but desires to move up into a key leadership role. It also offers the opportunity to work under a highly regarded Operations Manager in the company from whom you can learn, grow and perhaps down the road 10 years take on an even larger role within the company.

The salary will be in the $65-75,000 range along with very competitive benefits.
