A growing feed ingredients trading firm is adding a Trader to its team. This is a relationship-driven, phone-heavy role focused on building a profitable desk within a conservative, low-risk trading model.
This group specializes in recycled and upcycled feed ingredients, operating primarily through back-to-back trades with strong internal support across transportation, finance, and operations.
The Role
You will be responsible for building and managing your own book of business—connecting buyers and sellers, structuring deals, and driving consistent daily profitability. This is a fast-moving environment that requires organization, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple conversations at once.
The company provides the infrastructure. You bring the drive, relationships, and ability to put deals together.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and manage a book of business in feed ingredients
- Execute trades primarily on a back-to-back basis (low speculative risk)
- Build relationships with both suppliers and end users
- Manage multiple deals, customers, and moving pieces simultaneously
- Work closely with internal transportation and operations teams
- Stay highly engaged on the phone—this is a sales-driven trading role

Experience
- Open to a range of experience levels:
- Entry-level candidates with an ag background and strong interest in trading (in-person only)
- Experienced traders with an existing book of business (remote potential)
- Familiarity with grain, feed ingredients, or related markets is preferred
- Understanding of logistics and transportation is a plus
