Description
An established and growing company is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive equipment sales across the fertilizer and ag retail market throughout Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan.
This is a hands on, relationship driven role for someone who takes ownership of their territory. The focus is on identifying opportunities, building strong partnerships, and moving projects from concept through close. You will work with both capital and operational equipment, including blending systems, conveying equipment, loadout systems, and tender and spreading equipment, with projects ranging from individual units to multi million dollar installations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing and growing an established multi state territory
• Calling on ag retailers, cooperatives, and large farming operations
• Building relationships with key decision makers
• Identifying opportunities across facilities, tendering, and spreading programs
• Collaborating with internal teams to develop solutions and close business
• Staying engaged through project execution to ensure success
The ideal candidate will bring:
• Sales experience in agriculture, equipment, or a related industry
• Understanding of fertilizer operations such as blending, tendering, or spreading
• Ability to understand and communicate mechanical systems
• Strong communication, organization, and follow through
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory
Success in this role is driven by consistency, ownership, and the ability to move opportunities forward. This is not a passive sales role. The company is seeking someone who is proactive, accountable, and motivated to grow the business.
A background in fertilizer handling or ag retail, along with experience in capital equipment or tender and spreading equipment, is preferred. Existing relationships in the territory are a plus.
