Eastern Indiana ag retailer is seeking an Agronomy Relationship Manager to join their team. This role focuses on supporting the sales team in communicating and delivering the company's values, services, and products to customers. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the sales and marketing process and wants to help expand the company’s geographic reach.
As Agronomy Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in the agronomic, grain, energy, and feed business units.
Your primary responsibility will be to help both the seller and buyer achieve their goals by delivering superior customer service and training. You will work closely with the marketing department to ensure the company's vision is effectively communicated to customers. Agronomic knowledge is important, as you will review scouting reports and provide product recommendations for treatments.
To be considered as a potential candidate, you will need to have a BS in agriculture or a related field or equivalent industry experience. You should also have agronomic experience, with an understanding of wine grapes and tree fruits. Proficiency in MS Office, SSI, Keystone Connect, Seed Sales Tool, and Data-On-Touch is required. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
