A thriving grain company is offering an attractive Grain Location Manager opportunity in Wisconsin for a highly motivated leader who has grain merchandising and origination experience and successful people management skills. This individual must be creative in finding solutions to move the business profitably forward and figuring out and solving challenges as they arise.
The successful candidate will oversee a nearly four million bushel storage truck facility and lead a crew of around 12 full time team members (including 6-7 truck drivers). You will oversee all of the daily activities of this facility that receives and ships out multiple grain commodities. A good and reliable Outside Superintendent manages all of the outside operations and maintenance activities and will report to you.
Leadership qualities are critical for success as coaching, training and providing direction for employees is a primary responsibility in this position. Responsibilities will also include building and maintaining good relationships with customers.
The ideal candidate will enjoy leading a good team, be very organized, pay close attention to detail, and have a basic understanding of outside operations, trucking / transportation, safety and compliance, and housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
A BS degree in Agriculture (or equivalent in experience) and proven, successful leadership experience are required, and a minimum of five years grain merchandising / origination experience is highly preferred in order to perform this role well.
Salary will likely be $85-100,000+ BOE plus an excellent bonus program (percent of earnings before depreciation) and a really good benefits package.
