Seed company is seeking a leader to manage a soybean production facility in Central Illinois.
This role is to provide day to day leadership with a focus on all aspects of business success including customer satisfaction, fiscal responsibility, process efficiency, employee safety, and employee development. People management is a major part of the job responsibility.
This is a role designed for someone who has an understanding of the manufacturing process and how product flows through the plant. An understanding of seed production and agricultural practices is preferred but not required.
You will develop and implement location budgets and will forecast production and acreage numbers. You will be responsible for having the needed staff and supplies to meet the forecasted goals.
The Plant Manager will communicate with customers. You must be someone who can communicate effectively in a variety of platforms. You must be someone who has a hands-on style and will work alongside members of your team in the plant.
The company will give you plenty of flexibility to operate the plant. They desire people who can take "ownership" and be on the lookout for ways to improve. You'll receive a competitive compensation, benefits, vehicle, and excellent bonus potential. You can expect to earn $75,000 - $120,000 based upon your level of experience. Contact Jim Fleming.
