The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales activities to achieve the business goals and sales objectives of the organization in the south-central region of the U.S. This position reports to and works closely with our Global Sales Director to develop and implement sales plans and programs.

The successful candidate will lead the company's sales efforts in growing core business and developing new product/market opportunities. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Grow sales in the territory by calling on poultry and greenhouse equipment distributors to:
  • Persuade decision makers to buy and promote the company's products
  • Educate distributors/dealers on the company's products and capabilities
  • Develop strong business relationships in the sales territory in order to promote product awareness and positively influence heating and ventilation specifications, preferences, and purchasing decisions with key integrator personnel and growers
  • Assist dealers and the company's technical support department in performing basic product troubleshooting
  • Act as a conduit of information between the field and the offices:

The Regional Sales Manager position requires 50% travel, ranging from one to four overnights per week, and occasionally weekends. In our south-central region that runs from Mississippi to Eastern Texas and most travel is by vehicle, and a company truck is provided for this purpose. A smart phone and laptop computer, are provided as well. All approved travel, meals and entertainment expenses are paid for by the company.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of five years of successful sales experience
  • Experience selling equipment or other engineered products in the Poultry industry
  • Strong and well developed relationships within the Poultry industry
  • Demonstrated record of success in selling through a distributor/dealer network
  • Highly proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Four-year college degree preferred but not required
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
