Description
A Location Manager is needed to join a fast paced agronomy team in north central Illinois.
As Location Manager, you will oversee a full-service agronomy plant that offers anhydrous ammonia, chemistry, custom application, fertilizer, precision services, and seed.
Your responsibilities will include daily management and oversight of equipment, facilities, sales, and staff. During the busy season, you will oversee dispatch using AgVance Dispatch and Sky software. You will be the point person and serve an important role facing the customer. You may occasionally operate equipment, will need a Class A CDL, and should be able to operate large heavy trucks, tractors, and other farm related equipment. You must lead by example and be able to solve problems and utilize your critical thinking skills.
A farm background and experience in a fertilizer plant are vital to your success. The company prefers you have a minimum of two years in an agronomy retail plant along with sales experience. Strong business skills are helpful.
The company has a family feel with a team focused approach. You will be compensated based upon your level of experience; salary will be in the $55,000 - $100,000 range plus additional compensation based upon your performance. A vehicle and benefits are also provided.
