Description
Successful and respected grain company in Wisconsin is adding a Maintenance Electrician to oversee all facets of electrical work at all of their facilities. The successful candidate will travel to facilities as needed and depending on the task at hand, use their talents to either work alone or side by side other team members to accomplish it.
Candidates must be a licensed electrician and have at least a 2-4 year certificate from a college or technical school OR four years of industrial electrical experience. OSHA 10 certification is preferred. The company will provide all the tools and safety equipment you need for the job.
Responsibilities will be primarily electrical work, and their will be some millwright and basic PLC work as well. Travel will be approximately 25% with all expenses being covered, and you will be working outside in the elements much of the time. Responsibilities will include problem solving to keep the facilities up to OSHA and company standards.
Knowledge of grain operations equipment is helpful. Some locations have solar panels to work on. Candidates must be comfortable with heights and climbing grain bins as needed. You must also be self-motivated, a good listener, and humble in earning the respect of the team. Because safety is a key part of this company's culture, candidates must respect safety and be involved in modeling and teaching it daily.
Compensation will be hourly and reflect experience; annual compensation will likely be in the $90-95,000+ range. A full benefits package and performance bonus are also offered.
If you are a talented electrician, a go-getter and want to be a part of a stable, growing company with a positive, family oriented culture, contact Dave Allen or Brad Jansen.
