    Description

A highly-successful, financially-stable Kansas cooperative is seeking a Director of Growth & Marketing to help lead their team forward.  You will work alongside the CEO to develop strategic growth plans, lead sales staff to even greater success, and enhance employee engagement. The company is seeking somebody who has a passion for the cooperative world and desires to make a profound impact on the company and communities it serves.

The Co-op is very innovative and has great long-term vision.  They take pride in building for the future instead of spending time reacting to the needs of today.   They are in the "sweet spot" as far as size is concerned.  They are large and diversified enough for ample opportunity, however small enough to be nimble and have a family culture.

You will be tasked with coordinating training and professional development for employees, as well as leading team building activities.  The company will lean on you to utilize your marketing experience to build their industry presence via social media and other outlets.  You will also play a key role in networking with other companies and developing new business opportunities.  Another crucial part of the role is providing training, accountability, and leadership for the sales team.

The successful candidate will not be micromanaged and must have the entrepreneurial spirit and vision to help the company thrive in today's competitive environment.  Personal drive and discipline will be instrumental to your success.  Excellent follow-through, organization, communication, public speaking skills, the ability to motivate, and a growth mindset are essential for this role.

This position is ideal for someone getting burned out in a corporate setting and who values a family-based culture where you can leave your fingerprint on the business.  There is also potential for the role to be hybrid or mostly remote for the right candidate.

You will have the ability to live in a rural setting or a larger metropolitan area.  Pay will be competitive depending on experience plus a co-op retirement plan and industry leading benefits.

If you are interested in joining co-op with a growth mentality that values its culture of mentorship and professional development, please contact Brad Jansen.
