Description
Central Illinois agronomy supplier is seeking an individual to join their team to sell seed and related services.
You will be selling the leading Bayer seed brands and treatments direct to farmers and you will take over an existing customer list. Your goal is to add sales and source new customers. When not selling, you will manage the seed warehouse and keep track of inventories. You will make deliveries and manage side by side plots.
The preferred candidate for this role will be someone with a minimum of 3 years of ag sales experience. Seed experience is desired but not required. You'll need some practical agronomic knowledge and a farm background. You must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. Business savvy and an understanding of P & L and margins are preferred.
This role has advancement potential and will compensate you with a base rate of pay, plus an aggressive bonus and commission structure along with benefits and vehicle.
