A prominent trader and processor is seeking a Regional Account Manager to oversee the sales of dairy minerals, value added products, inoculants, and feed commodities to cattle producers. This person must make on the farm sales calls and develop strong relationships with producers. This position reports to the Director of Feed Business and is responsible for a sales territory in West Texas.
Within this role, you must be able to make farm sales calls, including follow-up while also adhering to all safety policies. The sales of value added products such as calf feeds and inoculant, dairy minerals, and feed commodities is essential. The ideal candidate will be able to set goals for growth based on animal numbers and market share potential. The Regional Account Manager must have an understanding of cattle markets and commodity markets for discussion and advice for producers.
You must have strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to build and maintain relationships, and strong mathematical skills and reasoning ability for a commonsense approach.
