Description

Premier agricultural trading company is seeking a proven professional with international grain trading experience.

You will communicate regularly with customers and manage contracts, contract terms, contract pricing, and hedging functions.

Personal relationships with Asian customers are not required, but knowledge of the markets and the customers are a must.

You will know and abide by applicable trading rules and guidelines while working closely with the logistics team to assure timely shipment and customer communication / notification while product is in transit. You will also negotiate freight rates and manage contracts with steamship lines; having established relationships with rate makers would be extremely valuable.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5+ years of experience in the Asian market. You must have a hunger to learn and a willingness to grow as the company continues to expand.

This is a great opportunity to live in a highly desired region of the US and join a team that is going somewhere. They are good in this space, growing, and getting stronger. There is a substantial career growth opportunity in this company where you will be a valued team member.

Compensation will include a very competitive salary, an industry-leading incentive compensation opportunity, and an exceptional benefits package.

If you have 3-5 years of experience trading in the Asian or container markets, contact Sam Trcka or Dave Allen today!
