Description
A progressive family-owned agricultural operation in Illinois is seeking a "jack-of-all-trades" to help carry their company into the next generation. They are a multi-faceted business including: seed sales, row crop production, swine production, custom drone spraying, and property management.
You will find the members of the family are "salt-of-the earth" people. They take pride in doing things the right way and constantly pushing the envelope with changing trends in the industry.
The ideal candidate will have grown up around a farm or have direct on farm experience. No formal education is required. Responsibilities include: equipment maintenance, grain handling, building and grounds maintenance, row crop production (equipment operation), swine management, seed deliveries and inventory control, and drone operation.
The family believes in taking care of their people and rewarding them for dedication and production. Base pay will be $25-30/hour depending on experience with paid time off, incentives, and healthcare benefits.
If you enjoy the farming way of life, wearing "many hats" and desire to work with people with conservative values, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
