Description
A sales professional is needed at a full-service agronomy retail plant located in east central Illinois.
The role consists of building relationships with existing businesses and providing them with product solutions. You will have a large portfolio of fertility, chemistry, seed, and proprietary products to provide to your customers.
You will report to the plant, but most of your work will take place in your mobile office. You will scout fields and assist your customers with troubleshooting and scouting services. This is a role where you are expected to become a trusted advisor by relaying current product information and services to your customers.
The company prefers to hire an experienced salesperson who has direct to the farmer sales experience. You must be a self-starter and someone who can get things done with little supervision. You should be able to manage and prioritize your accounts. An ag degree will be helpful, and a CCA is desired.
The company will provide a truck and all the needed tools for you to be successful. You will be compensated based upon your experience. Aggressive bonuses and commissions are available, and good benefits provided.
$50-70,000 boe, plus benefits, bonus, commissions, and vehicle
