A third-generation family-owned global manufacturing and distribution company is looking for a Concrete Division Manager. This position oversees all five precast concrete plants that are located in Iowa, Indiana, North Carolina, and South Dakota. These operations, supply its 100 other business locations throughout the US, Europe, and Asia. It is one of the world's leading providers of production solutions for multiple industries including agriculture and general construction.
You will oversee all phases of manufacturing operations, including recruitment, development, and management of location Managers. In addition, you will facilitate the planning and start-up of new production locations, including determining capital needs and sourcing of labor, utilities, and raw materials. As the Division Manager, you will work directly with customers, the sales team, and internal & external engineering to develop and manufacture products that meet the ever-changing market demands.
If you have extensive experience in manufacturing, (preferably in the concrete industry), and a strong blend of analytical, decision-making, and creative problem-solving skills, this position may be the career move that will change your life.
You will have the choice to live close to one of the operating facilities. You will need to travel to the different sites to be closely involved with your team.
