Description
Agronomy retail company is seeking to hire a salesperson to work out of a retail location in north central Illinois. This is a customer facing role. You will be calling on farmers providing agronomy and seed product solutions.
You are responsible for building relationships with current customers and connecting with new customers. Sales skills are a must. You must be someone who enjoys meeting people and learning about their farming operations. A personality that reflects a caring and helpful attitude will go a long way with this role.
This opportunity is open because the plant has posted significant growth and the owners see a need for an additional salesperson.
The ideal candidate will have a farm background, good agronomic skills and a magnetic and caring personality. To be hired, you'll need to pass a driver's screening. You must have a good driver's record.
You'll be paid a competitive salary and provided a vehicle and benefits, plus the opportunity to earn more based upon your level of sales.
You can expect a base salary in the range of $65,000 to $100,000. Bonuses are paid based upon your sales success and profitability. Benefits and vehicle are provided.
