Take your seed sales career to the next level! We have a seed company partner seeking a Business Development Manager. This is a career opportunity that is focused on independent seed company representatives who may be interested in adding a brand to their business portfolio.
This is a remote role and could be based in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, or Iowa. You will be identifying independent seed reps and offering them opportunities to grow their business.
You'll provide agronomic services, side by side plot management, field day presentations, product evaluation, and assist with account settlements. The success of the role will be based on your knowledge of the independent sellers and offering them a product that is backed by performance and values.
The company seeks to hire someone with working knowledge of the independent seller, who they are, and where they are located. This is for someone who has been in the seed industry four to five years. A business mindset is important coupled to an understanding of agronomic and farming practices. You must be a professional, trustworthy, and ethical. You have to be able to work independently.
