A large and successful family farm operation in Central Illinois is looking for a Grain Operations Manager to lead their grain facilities.
The farm operates two truck grain facilities that stay busy year around. They are a family-oriented group that works hard, however they take care of their people.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of grain operations experience and have a solid understanding of grain quality management, and maintenance. A CDL is preferred, however the company is willing to help you get one for the right candidate. Attention to detail and great communication skills are musts for this role. They are seeking someone that will take pride in the facilities and has the vision to see how things can be improved.
Compensation will be competitive based on experience. You will enjoy standard work hours most of the year, however harvest will require more availability. There will also be opportunity for more hours in the spring if the candidate so chooses. This role has the potential to pay $80-125k depending on your appetite for hours.
