Description
An established and growing company is seeking an Commodities Trader to join their team. The company specializes in sourcing, storing, and distributing in the pet food, animal nutrition, and specialty ingredient markets. They operate across bulk commodity sourcing, transloading, warehousing, and private-label opportunities, with a strong reputation for customer service and supply chain reliability.
You will be joining a lean, fast-paced team of driven traders that manage their own book while contributing to the broader commercial strategy. You will be responsible for both sourcing and sales of product.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in commodities. An existing network in animal proteins, vegetable meals, fishmeal, or fats/oils is strongly desired. You must have a deep understanding of supply chain, pricing, logistics and market dynamics.
This role can be remote/hybrid or based out of their offices in California or Florida.
Compensation for this role with come with a competitive base salary, commission based on your P&L, and discretionary bonuses.
