A highly successful and rapidly growing agribusiness in the Western Corn Belt is seeking an Area Manager to oversee a state-of-the-art shuttle train facility.
The Area Manager will manage, direct, facilitate, and coordinate the operational activities of the grain and agronomy facilities to obtain optimal operational efficiency, communication, and asset utilization for the company. The position will play a significant role in training, supporting, and developing location employees and key personnel for promotion and career enhancements. This individual will also plan, direct, and coordinate operational activities to ensure that policies, goals, or objectives are consistent with those established by the Regional Manager.
They ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in management of a grain and agronomy rail facility as well knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, EPA and policies and procedures. You should have the ability to maintain effective working relationships with individuals within and outside the organization.
