Description
A forward thinking farmer owned cooperative is seeking to hire an Agronomy Solutions Advisor who will work in northern Ohio.
This role is a consultative sales model that will cross sell products and services direct to the farmer customer. The company is focused in agronomy, precision services, energy, and grain. This type of sales model gives you ample opportunities to build a strong relationship with your client. You will have 20 to 30 customers who will represent the majority of your business. You are expected to be in the country making on average of 4 to 5 sales calls per day.
The company offers crop protection, fertilizer, NH3, seed, professional services, and cusom application. Seed brands are Bayer, Brevant, Croplan, and others. You are to bring value and fulfill the needs of your farmers. You may conduct training and educational meetings. You must be able to speak in front of a group and conduct yourself with professionalism.
You will be expected to complete your paperwork on a timely basis and utilize a company CRM platform. There may be times when you will be asked to assist the operations team to get the work completed.
The company expects nothing less than someone who is focused on the company as a whole who will work together with your teammates. They will require you to have prior agronomy sales experience with a high level of integrity and ethics.
This is a role that can lead to your professional advancement. Should you be hired, you'll be paid a competitive salary with performance based bonus and incentives. You'll receive progressive benefits and vehicle. $60,000 - $80,000++ benefits, and vehicle.
