    Description

    Manufacturer of planting and harvesting equipment is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead and structure the company's engineering department.

    You will report directly to the president of the company and will work closely with senior management in developing new products.

    The company has a long history and respect in the industries they serve. The company has a family feel and is located in the heart of rural America.

    You must be a hands-on designer and will work closely with assembly and production. You'll do product testing and will establish relationships with key people in the industry.

    You'll need to know how to work within a budget and create equipment costs.

    The company desires an individual who will be honest and trustworthy who can communicate professionally both internally and externally. You must be an enthusiastic person who can hit the ground running.

    The preferred candidate will have a minimum of a BS degree, though an MS is preferred, in mechanical engineering and have experience with agricultural equipment.

    Should you be hired, you will be paid a salary based upon your experiences, plus an excellent benefit package.

    You will do some travel, but not to an extreme.

    $100-125,000 plus excellent benefits.
