Premier agronomy retail company is seeking a Seed Specialist to join their team in Central Illinois. This is a consultative sales role where you will be developing cropping plans and making product placement for farmers.
The company represents Dekalb, Asgrow, and other brands. This is not a new role. The role is open due to promotion so you will be stepping into an established book of business representing 15,000 units of corn and 30,000 bags of soybeans. You will oversee all aspects of the seed business.
The company desires a candidate with a strong agronomic background who understands how to properly place product. A candidate with a BS degree in agribusiness and a minimum of three years' seed sales experience is strongly preferred. You must be a person of character and integrity, farm background, and strong work ethic.
