Manufacturer and distributor of equipment used in the processing and production of seed is seeking an individual to sell products in a Midwestern territory. You will be selling a lineup of combines and planters.
Your target customers are seed companies, seed research firms, and universities who conduct small plot research. This is strictly sales. You will not be troubleshooting or repairing. There will be some cold calling, but mostly this will be re-establishing relationships.
This is a heavy travel type job and requires someone with a "road warrior" mentality. This is a territory role and your territory will be set based upon your geography.
The desired candidate will have good working knowledge of the seed production process. A farm and farm machinery background are strongly desired.
