    Seed production company is seeking an individual to join their team working in seed processing operations.

    This is a position with a combination of inside and outside work. During the fall and winter months, you'll be inside the plant operating the tower, cleaners, gravity, treater, and color sorter. When the planting season begins, you will be in the field operating the planter and other related equipment. During the summer, you will operate the detasseling machine and will be in the plant getting it ready for harvest.

    The company uses Crippen cleaners, Oliver gravity, and a Gustafson treater.

    The company prefers to hire someone who has some experience working inside a seed production plant. You need to possess a good understanding of how processes work and flow and experience operating large farm machinery.

    A good mechanical background and abilities will be extremely helpful. You will need your pesticide applicator license and CDL.

    The company has little turnover because they treat their people well.
