We have a great opportunity for you to join one of the leading seed genetics providers as a Research Technician.
This is a hands-on research position. You will be operating machinery preparing seed plots, planting, weeding, and harvesting.
During the growing season, this job will have considerable travel to different research fields. Typically, the plots are within about 200 miles of the main farm. There will be some overnight travel during planting and harvesting.
The company needs to hire someone who is experienced in seed research and can help in leading a younger crew. You need to have experience operating research planters and combines. This job requires a person to be detailed, focused on quality, and enjoys operating machinery.
A minimum of a BS degree is preferred. You will need a Class A CDL as well as a private pesticide applicators license.
This position will lead to further advancement opportunities within the company.
$40-58,000 based upon an hourly rate plus benefits.
