A Chicago-based agricultural risk management company is seeking a motivated and team-oriented associate to join their Education and Market Research Team.
This role is ideal for someone with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Primary responsibilities include delivering educational content to groups around the country in a live format and conducting research projects. This includes, but is not limited to, communicating the basics of futures and options employed in a hedging capacity, writing newsletters, and analyzing data. The position is based at the company's corporate headquarters in Chicago.
The ideal candidate will excel in public speaking and possess a strong agricultural background with a solid understanding of futures and options contracts. A unique qualification that the client values is someone who has served as a National or State FFA (Future Farmers of America) Officer. This position will require obtaining a Series 3 license subsequent to hiring and you will be expected to travel 15-25% of the time.
