    Description

    A very innovative and successful Missouri-based company is seeking an experienced business leader to join their team as a Strategic Account Representative.

    This is a great opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial thought process and strong interest in being part of a growing privately-owned company serving the animal, pet and aquatic feed industry.

    The successful candidate will work with a team of highly experienced feed industry professionals with the goal of providing marketing alternatives for plant and animal proteins from the food industry for the purpose of creating value-added feed products.

    The ideal candidate will be a dynamic salesman first and have experience working with large, national food companies. Experience in leading a business unit in the agriculture commodity and / or food processing industry is a real plus.

    This role will help create and execute on the vision of the company, be able to sell the value proposition to partner companies, while providing cost effective solutions to all stakeholders. This individual must be experienced and as comfortable working with large accounts in a board room type setting, as well as talking to a manager on the production floor. Therefore, strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills are a must.

    Qualified candidates must have at least a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Food or Ag related field. Preference will be given to individuals with advanced degrees. Candidates must have 8-10+ years' experience in a sales role related to the food, feed, and / or processing industry.

    Salary will range between $100,000 & $120,000, depending on the experience of the individual. Also included is a profit-based bonus system and comprehensive benefit package.
