Well respected, multi-location, high performance dairy farm that prides itself in leading the industry in animal husbandry, environmental stewardship, and overall excellence in dairy management is seeking a CEO who will take the reins, be passionate for the success of the company, and work strategically with the Board of Directors to lead the business into the next level of excellence.

The successful yet humble individual will be a visionary, team builder and financially-minded leader who holds people accountable while inspiring and motivating the organization's diverse and extraordinary team of professionals to work together in carrying out the mission and vision of the company.

Other vital attributes include being respectful, transparent, and having unquestionable honesty and integrity, along with a positive and passionate approach to each day. It is also key to be outgoing, organized, a good listener and time manager, and able to adapt readily to change.

Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and an ability to read people are key in order to relate well to all stakeholders of the company.

Candidates must have proven ability to lead successfully by example, in order to create an atmosphere of "employer of choice". Experience with 100+ employees and multiple sites and mid-level managers is key. Being compassionate toward company personnel, yet also being an assertive motivator and good judge of talent who can inspire others and build a cohesive team, is helpful.

An agricultural background, Ag or business degree, and successful experience working in or with large scale dairy production are preferred, along with an ability to see the big picture, make smart decisions, and have a desire to gradually expand and grow the business while not being afraid to think out of the box and stretch the company outside of their comfort zone.

Just a few of the opportunities that await the chosen CEO are: exploring the potential and possibilities of value added products and / or possible acquisitions; creating a brand and a defined connection to their customers; navigating the ups and downs through suppressed commodity cycles; working with ongoing and increasingly difficult environmental regulations; creating a strategic plan that adds certainty and direction to the business; focusing on systems and people to positively impact future growth; improving methods of keeping and utilizing information, data, and records; leveraging, deploying, and developing current talent to its fullest extent; and exploring the potential of internalizing services that are currently outsourced.

This is a rare and unique opportunity that offers exciting challenges and rewards with a recognized growth-minded leader in the dairy industry. Their business has been successfully built by focusing on growing their people and improving their cows. There is great potential for added success as you lead the team through the next stages of growth and opportunity.

Located in a beautiful and serene Wisconsin location, this position offers the opportunity to put down roots in a lively urban community, a rural setting, or in a variety of smaller, vibrant communities. Ample educational, entertainment, and recreational opportunities are within easy driving distance.

Compensation will include a very competitive and attractive financial package and excellent benefits.

Qualified and passionate business leaders with the skills and desire to lead an innovative, modern and well-maintained dairy enterprise, please contact Dave Allen.
