Description
Highly successful and growing grain company is seeking a Rail Terminal Manager to lead and mentor a good, young team at one of their key elevators in Northern Illinois.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing operations, safety, and people in a grain facility, preferably rail. A minimum of 5-10 years of grain experience and three years' supervisory experience is required, however more experienced candidates could be a great fit as well.
The role is multi-faceted: you must be able to manage logistics and lead people while offering excellent customer service to producers. You must be driven for success and have a desire for constant improvement. This role will require some office work, however the successful candidate will enjoy being outside and be a true "hands-on" working manager.
Significant authority and latitude will be entrusted to you as you will be highly responsible for the profitability of the location.
The company culture has a track record of financial success and operates within a tight-knit family capacity, while having the resources of a big company.
Located in the middle of highly productive soils, you will have the option to live in a rural setting or in larger towns within 30 minutes.
Compensation will be a base salary likely in the $100-125,000+ range based on experience with financial goals and incentives to go much higher. An excellent benefits package is available including cell phone allowance, company vehicle, profit sharing, pension and train bonuses.
Are you driven for success and have the desire to do more? Do you possess “the bigger the challenge the more I will try to succeed” attitude? If so, and you are a grain leader that enjoys "getting in the trenches" and desires to make a significant impact on the success of a great company, contact Brad Jansen.
