Description
Premier agricultural industry leader is seeking a non-GMO Soybean Merchandiser to join their team.
Responsibilities include managing an existing sales book with consumptive customers primarily in the Asian markets. You will communicate regularly with the end-users, and manage contracts, contract terms, contract pricing, and hedging functions.
You will know and abide by applicable trading rules and guidelines while working closely with the logistics team to assure timely shipment and customer communication / notification while product is in transit. You will also negotiate freight rates and manage contracts with steamship lines.
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5+ years of experience in the Asian non-GMO soybean market. You must have a hunger to learn and a willingness to grow as the company continues to expand as well as the drive and desire to grow into a leader.
You will work side-by-side with one of the industry's best and brightest leaders in this specific market arena. This is not a come in and "sit in this position" for a decade type of scenario.
