Respected agricultural company is seeking a Grain / Ingredients Merchandiser with excellent problem-solving skills to work with their commodity team to keep ingredients supplied to their plants.
The ideal candidate will be high-energy, have a sense of curiosity, and have some boots-on-the-ground origination or merchandising experience along with the ability to negotiate and think on their own two feet. Having some battle scars and diversified trading experience that will bring value to the team is preferred.
You will have varied responsibilities dealing primarily with the commodity team, and daily you will interact with processing plants and other players in the ingredients market as well as communicate with other company personnel.
A bachelor's degree is preferred; however, successful trading experience is more important. Four to five years of trading experience is ideal, however, someone with 25 years of experience looking for a fresh challenge will be seriously considered.
