    Description

Established grain company is seeking a hands-on Controller/CFO for their operations in South Texas.

While you will be accountable for all corporate accounting responsibilities and government and board reports, you will be very involved in the day-to-day functions of multiple grain locations along with cotton ginning.

It is essential that you are very experienced in grain accounting, and knowledge of Agris software will be very beneficial. A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required as well as a minimum of 6 years of grain accounting management experience. This client would consider someone in the back end of their career who would like to move to this beautiful area of Texas with plans to retire in the next 6-8 years.

This is a midsize business; so while you will be wearing a lot of hats, you will be able to operate in a very friendly and rather laid-back environment with an experienced and dedicated team.

This area will allow you a variety of living options from rural Texas to Gulf shore living. This area is described as a sportsman's paradise. If you have had your fill of the snow and cold, this could be a great option for your career.

The salary is very competitive for the role and the region. The position also has excellent benefits and bonus opportunities.

Qualified candidates should contact Vic Heinold.
