Description
Grain handling facility in the eastern United States is seeking a hands-on General Manager to oversee all operations at this grain-in, grain-out facility. Open Monday through Friday, it has a very nice, stable and consistent business.
The successful candidate will be an organized go-getter who has the mechanical ability to keep things running and the vision to get things done. You will deal with truckers, manage a very dependable crew of four total people in unloading and reloading grain, and be responsible for keeping things moving at a consistent flow. You will be the leader and Manager, a working manager who will help load grain, dump trucks, and assist team members in whatever needs done.
The ideal background is an experienced leader with an agricultural or grain background, but that is not 100% necessary. Having a quality mindset is absolutely critical in handling the grain.
Salary will likely be $100,000 to $125,000+ based on experience along with excellent benefits and a company vehicle.
